When you meet several Japanese people, the person with the highest position will exchange cards first.  You should start exchanging the business card with the highest person, then step down following the position.  Generally, Japanese business people will arrange the line in order at the business cards exchange.

Person with the highest position seats behind the TAXI driver and the lowest person will take the seat next to the driver confirming that higher people seated without any problem.

Higher person uses casual or polite language to lower person who uses super polite language to higher person.

Higher person is addressed by the position title or the name & the position title as Hon-Bucho (Senor Manager or Director), Tanaka-Hon-Bucho.
